Executive Director
Andy Reitz, Executive Director, is an active A320 Captain and longtime Peer-Assist Volunteer. He holds an M.B.A., M.Div., and Doctorate in Business Administration, is completing a Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Liberty University toward Florida LMHC licensure, and consults for the FAA's Civil Aerospace Medical Institute. As a former leader of Project Wingman, Andy knows the burden of what pilots carry day-to-day and knows exactly what effective peer support looks like.
Director of Mental Health Risk & Oversight
A former F-16 pilot and recently retired A320 Captain, Dr. Curreri is the founder of Project Wingman at American Airlines. He is President Emeritus of the International Peer Aviation Assist Coalition and Director of the Center for Aviation Mental Health, and served as co-chair of the FAA's Mental Health and Aviation Medical Clearances Rulemaking Committee. A Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, few people have done more to make peer support a permanent part of aviation.

Training Director
Shannon Torres is a counselor-turned-coach, private pilot, and advocate for pilot wellness. She holds a Master's in Counseling Education, has experience at a Part 121 carrier, and founded Aviation Conversations to give pilots a confidential, non-reportable place to build resilience and confidence. She serves on the Pilot Mental Health Campaign's Medical Committee and chairs the FSANA Wellness Committee. Shannon knows firsthand that mental readiness matters just as much as flying skills.
Volunteer Engagement Director
Gail Redden Jones retired from American Airlines after 30 years, finishing her career as a B737 Captain. A longtime peer support volunteer, she joined Project Wingman in 2012 after helping a fellow pilot in crisis and later served as deputy chair of the APA Aeromedical Committee. She is trained in SafeTalk suicide prevention and certified in Mental Health First Aid, with HIMS, CIRP, and EAP training. Gail is dedicated to making sure no aviator faces the hard moments alone.
Finance Director
Malyn is a former major-airline dispatcher who now flies CRJs for a Part 121 carrier. Having been through the FAA special issuance process herself, she offers hands-on guidance to pilots working through their own. She is also pursuing CPA licensure in Florida through a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Malyn is committed to sharing what she has learned to help fellow aviators navigate their toughest stretches with confidence.
